Well appears I have stepped into product development. I am in need of stepside rear fender bottom front & rear(L&R), also suburban 3rd door bottom (inner & outer skin)
We have one of the best independents in the nation ( KILLER WORK) that will reproduce these parts immediatly upon upon his receiving from me these sections used in excellant condition. We need the used parts in order to make the dies and the mold that he uses to check each part for its precision fit after stamping. I would like to purchase a 1' high section of each of the above mentioned parts. PLEASE if any of you can help in supply these let me know!!!! The faster we have them the faster we get them made! If you have the parts needed and plan on using them but will not be using them for 2-3 months the parts supplied can be returned in exactly the same condition as supplied or a new repair panel of exactly the same gauge instead. Further plans are for the following parts in future.
A-3rd door rockers for Burbs inner and outer,
B- spare tire tubs
C-inner roof panel of the 67-72 front leading edge at windshield
D-taillight sections ~ left and right Burbs
E-step up area from behind rear seat to cargo area on Burbs
F-inner & outer quarter repair panels Burbs
G-wheel tubs Burbs & panels
H-rocker boxes on Jimmy/Blazer (this one may need done in 2 sections front & rear
These are the parts I suggested and to him that are needed. Had considered the cowl sections but as most sections of cowl are readily fabricated with minimal skill doubt that these will be done.
Also considering doing section running side to side under the fuel tank between area covered by outer rear floor presently available.
I am doing my best at furthering the availibility of parts for the restoration of our trucks and I need these parts in order to do so.
All work done by this gentleman is top notch and comes with a unconditional guarantee to be absolutely correct in fit, form and detail. He currently does many of the 47-55 parts and they are pieces of perfection.
Appears we will also be able to offer you all Stepside spare carriers for drivers side mounted spares complete for $55.00 for any of you that are interested.
