This sweet looking "69" Chevy SWB stepside belongs to Chuck Higgins. It has been passed between him and his sons for the past 15 years. (Talk about keeping it in the family, Ha Ha Ha!!) It was originally U.S. Forest Service truck that that was painted green and gray, with an in-line six cylinder and four speed transmission. Chuck has upgraded this truck to "71" front disc brakes and a "71" 3.07 rear end. He has also installed a 350ci/300 HP GM "crate motor", TH400 trans and 2 1/2" exhaust with Flowmasters. To top it off it has a LaCarra steering wheel, pollised stainless steel bed strips, 8" front, 10"rear Weld wheels and BFG tires to hug the road with.
