This 72 GMC SWB 4x4, was purchased by Brian Gearheard for his step-son Tyler Hegstad about a year ago. Tyler turns 16 this March (2005) and is looking forward to getting his license, and cruising around in his new truck. (As long as he keeps his grades up.) The truck was purchased from a good friend of the family who had it built up a few years ago. The engine is a "Goodwrench" 350 crate motor with 12,000 miles on it. All other mechanicals were professionally rebuilt. It has a 4 speed transmission with NP205 transfer case. The seat came out of a late 80's Chevy pickup, with recent improvements to include dual exhaust with flowmasters. (Courtesy of Tyler's uncle James.) His uncle also installed a new Fey chrome step bumper and class 3 hitch. Brian and Tyler say that they are looking forward to completing the restoration process (with the help of Classic Heartbeat Pickup Parts of coarse.)
