A rebuildable core will have no excessive ware, nor be disassembled. No worn, broken, scored, damaged, cracked, frozen or rusted housings. Also No broken or damaged mounting points. ***Note*** If the core does not meet the above standards, it is not rebuildable, and the core charge will not be refunded. Please do not send a non-rebuildable core. ***Note*** The difference between a remanufacture steering gear and a rebuilt one is as follows: "Rebuilt" means the problem area is the only thing that is repaired. We sell "Remanufactured" means the entire unit is thoroughly gone through. The housings of our remanufactured steering gears are machined out, and Torrington bearings are installed. They either use flamespraying or replace the shafts as needed, and also install new control valves as needed. They custom fit each worm, and piston assembly with special ordered precise oversized ball bearings. |
